Pausing all operations would come with its own problems. A slow drain of cash, combined with no possible excitement on the horizon to generate buying demand, so an imbalance towards sellers and a falling SP. Then no progress towards the company's goals of PFS, BFS, production, so a lot of dilution would happen later at a low SP when they decide to resume operations, and they'd be a long time behind schedule and having to re-hire.
Currently: Gold is high, even if high interest rates are driving down valuations of explorers. I think it's necessary to progress towards their goals, so just deciding between US raising or ASX raising (so we can keep drilling at a good pace for PFS). If we're going to be diluted in either case, then I prefer the ASX case so I can participate and offset my dilution. But I expect management see some side benefits from a US listing - better odds of receiving a grant, or better odds of favourable funding for BFS/construction, or better odds of a partnership/acquisition etc.
