    Yes this is a worry. Tbh the quality of beef, eg steaks, used to be brilliant, when we moved to Australia over 25 years ago.
    And so reasonably priced. You could happily buy a pack of rump steak and it was always tender.
    Now, 90% of the time it is like boot leather, only fit for stewing.
    This is because it is from ancient cows. All the good quality is exported.

    Yes I am certain the supermarkets are price gouging, shame on them.
