Up to you, but if you’re confident that the deal is going to go through in line with the stated timetable, not only are you incurring broker costs by selling now, but you’re also giving up the $1.50 increase on the current share price. This is the equivalent of an annual return of more than 13%. Also waiting until August puts the capital gain into the next tax year.
All worth considering if you don’t have a short term use for the cash.
