The other thing to mention is that if Unith can somehow get some deals signed, or if the next 4C actually is further improvement on the last (which was probably the best one we've seen for 2 years (but the market didn't seem to care)), then if we can get the SP to beyond 2.3cents, we have a further $4M in options that should be exercised. That doubles the current runway, and really sets us up well.
That's the positive side. There is a potential negative outcome, and seeing us hit 1.4c today, this is something that does worry me moving forward.
The issue I see going forward, is that if there are no deals announced, the next announcement will be the June quarterly report at the end of July. With no news, and the fact that the last 12 months the markets have done well in general, while UNT is close to 52 weeks lows. That's a perfect combination for investors to be selling UNT in June to take the EOFY loss, to offset other gains made in the last 12 months. If that pushes the SP down to 1.2 or lower, we need to more than double the SP in two months to get that delicious options cash onto the books.
This just highlights the importance that we need to push forward, and get some deals done, and get that platform out and into paying customer's hands. We keep hearing snippets of amazing demonstrations, or happy customers, which if that is the case, now is the time to get it out there.
I'm all for making sure that we have a quality product to sell, and that takes time. But at the same time, we don't want to miss the boat, and watch the SP collapse, while trying to reach perfection. Just make it commercially robust, and if we release with some bells and whistles missing, I think that's some sacrifices that needs to be considered to get it out there.
Unith asked us in March to help with the entitlement offer, and we did. We all put our hands in our pockets and invested our hard earned, and it was oversubscribed.
Now the ball is in Unith's court to show that they respect our commitment to them, and to do their part.
While this is a bit of negative rant, my true feeling is that this is still an amazing opportunity, in a hot sector, so it won't take much for the SP to head north quickly, and all of these concerns will be a distant memory. Just that it won't happen on its own, it requires some commercial results to do it.
