LYC is sitting on 38Mt in oxide supergene ore at their Crown deposit with 1.07% Nb2O3, in an already operating mine with all infrastructure etc up and running. If te Niobium market ever has room beyond the 3 existing producers and WA1 muscling into a very small 85ktpa ferro-niobium global supply it will be LYC weel before C3 unless and until they make a step change new discovery imho....
If they had an economic RE deposit then of course the economic hurdle to produce ferro-niobium (incl all the downstream smelting once a Nb-con is flaoted) is lowered as a mine bi-product...
