The carbonate spot price is dropping again punishing the whole sector on average.  It could replace Feb 2024 as a new low for the sector...we will see.  Supply/demand predictions seem to be next to worthless in the industry and constantly changing.  The only given I think is that it's cyclical.  So after a sufficient period of maximum gloom and damage to the supply side due to low prices,  the abysmal supply/demand forecasts will likely miss demand shooting past supply as inventories get drawn down.  How long?  Who knows.  

On the company front, AGY needs to get the plant humming at the low cost that brine is renowned for and survive til the good times on the next cycle.
