If the RBA is raising rates, it means they think the ozzie economy is heathly. Good economic outlook is good for stocks.

AUD strength is a combination of good economic conditions here and US dollar getting devalued by over printing. I'm not a carry trade expert but as I understand it, the AUD is a good buy because of our higher interest rates and should keep momentum to the upside.

AUD at these levels aren't good for our exporters though or local manufacturers as imports are about as cheap as they have ever been.
