The Marshall Project is tracking police agency participation using data obtained from the FBI.
Here are takeaways from the analysis.
Participation in the FBI's database improved slightly, with about two-thirds of law enforcement agencies now included.
More than 6,000 law enforcement agencies were missing from the FBI’s national crime data last year, representing nearly one-third of the nation’s 18,000 police agencies.
This means a quarter of the U.S. population wasn't represented in the federal crime data last year, No wonder people have stopped trusting the Gvt and the agencies tasked with doing their job when THEY KNOW this yet they'll use the severely depleted data and LIE to your face even as you are being mugged, robbed or raped.
