    So the interest off the $10billion is going to pay for this housing, so lets assume 5% interest at best which is $500,000,000 and according to latest developers costings in NSW build cost of a 2 bed unit in a 6 storey complex allowing for 18% profit in Sydney metro is in the region of $500k, so based on that they could build 1,000 units a year well short of what is required. This just does not cut the mustard and we know Labor have never been good with numbers.
    I know for a fact that residential properties on the lower North Shore in Sydney were being sold to developers for between $11,500 and $14,000 per sqm in 2018 so what will developers be paying now for property close to train stations.
