I'll chime in here. I don't understand why elctroflow would change anything. as I understand, the core issues here from the greenies are:
1) extracting brine from the ground may cause issues
2) pumping the brine back into the ground may cause issues

ie. the issue is the movement of the brine. whether the process uses more or less water is irrelevant. ultimately even if you assume all DLEs are as good as each other at extracting lithium you still need the same volumes of brine to get the same output of lithiumm

DLE is irrelevant in this issue
