With speculation rife surrounding the trading halt, I caution Niobium may not be the reason for it.
Previously Wabli Creek has returned assays for rare earths peaking at 3860 ppm TREO.
However, what raised a few eyebrows was the results of a surface sampling program that included 14.3% Niobium Oxide, 6.7% Tantalum Oxide, 3689 ppm TREO of which 70.3% was HREO.
From the Niobium perspective, historical rock chip samples contained a peak of 32% Niobium and 5.04% Tantalum Oxide.
So while not ruling out results of Niobium assays, I am also mindful of the fact the assays may also refer to the others, as RR1's ASX announcement on 28 May 2024, included ".... the potential of the project to host significant Nb - Y - REE mineralisation."
Whatever the outcome the Wabli Creek project could be a valuable one.
