I don't understand the Eurodollar or even if it exists, the only person regularly talks about it is Jeff Snider. Whatever the eurodollar is, I assume it's the same thing with the Lebanese currency, people used either the lira or us dollar, the currency was fixed too, lira deposits and us deposits were mixed and most people saved using the lira because they received higher interest rates but the peg collapsed.

It's going further off topic but I liked this this 5 part interview from 2 years ago about the inflation in Lebanon, inflation just gets worse.
