There two fundamental problems with the NDIS.
Massive fraud a national scale & not delivering required outcomes to participants.
To blame it on a single government is ridiculous when it has been going on since day 1 & still going on today.
The NDIS was legislated by the Gillard/Rudd government in 2013, that was when the required checks & balances should have been defined.
Service providers saw a blank chequebook from the government.
Funding would be tripled in some cases, for instance to individual cases to meet their requirements & instead of delivering more services the service providers just tripled their prices overnight.
That's aside from the whole billing to participants accounts for no services provided, something that is also widespread in Medicare.
But let's not get sidetracked from the topic of this thread which is indigenous native title changes.
