I think it will be the end of our species --------- but, not the end of intellect or consciousness or sentience etc -------------- hopefully it will go on - carried by a less flawed mechanism than human
And - IMO, we will end the species ourselves - by choice. We will choose to partner with machines instead of humans and stop breeding ---------- it's already begun.
