I was pleasantly surprised that the grade reported for the first shipment of 113,000 wet metric tonnes was 58.5% (described as Onslow Fines). I expect that to use that descriptor means that they are intending to provide a consistent spec product. It is at the high end of the grade quality included in the mineral resource declarations from memory, but that's good and suggests they will be comparative to Fortescue Metals(FMG) products. So to answer your question, FMG ships a product they describe as "Pilbara Hematite" and although I have not found a specification for it, the following slides from a recent presentation suggests the Onslow Fines product is broadly comparable on grade at least (and therefore possibly price too).
