NATO's affirmation that the Ukraine WILL become a NATO member
has been recently repeated. You can be as pedantic as you wish but
NATO's intentions are quite clear...that is the Ukraine WILL become a member of NATO
while Putin is saying, not on my watch, that is unless NATO radically changes
its prerequisites for membership ..ie: allow the Ukraine to be a member while
it has disputed borders with Russia:


IMO that's the nub of the NATO/Russia conflict

The bottom line is that the Ukraine aided financially and militarily by NATO (led by the USA)
has to drive Russia out of its pre 2014 borders before the Ukraine qualifies
for NATO membership under NATOs current rules. By the way, its also
similar with Georgia and Moldova . Even Blind Freddy can see the
common denominator here?
IE: Russia has contested territory of the Ukraine, Georgia & Moldova
to prevent all 3 from joining NATO
