"The Teals aren't a party, but vote as a block.". . yes the Teals aren't a party. while the share interests on some issues, they said at the outset after the election they would each make up their own minds on each legislative bill.
"you don't seem to like representatives that are coerced into voting 'the party way'.". .... Party pollies vote in accordance with the whip's instructions or face the consequences. Party pollies represent the Party to the electorate.... write them a letter and you'll get a response that gives excuses and ends in stating Party policy and blame everything on the former Govt.
so yeh, I despise all parties and their membership. Lib and Lab - there's no real difference except in the ideology department.
Greens and Nats are both parties for extremists.
its the fluctuations between left and right with each election that changes govt. theres no consistency and each new Govt wants nothing better than to remove as much of the former Govts legacy as they can.
this is not a sensible way to govern a nation. don't you think it would be better if we had no parties so that each MP could vote according to their own conscience, the expressed wishes of the electorate and the best outcome of the whole nation?
