my builder charges $50ph + gst.
and you forget he runs a business, and that includes long service leave/public liability insurance/ public holidays/ sicks days/ association and license levies and superannuation.
my plumber is $65+ my sparky is $55+
now you work out the actual wage as compared to an office worker, and add the free computer and phone while youre at it.
