@indigo surely this latest update has got you excited after many years waiting to see progress on Bunyu?!
Why would the Tanzanian government make these statements publicly, unless they know the current status of the Bunyu project funding? It's a very big call to make, even before Volt has made any official announcement.
South Korea has just announced they're lending Tanzania $2.5B. Tanzania also signed two accords on Korean use of its ocean resources and minerals used in clean energy technologies such as nickel, lithium and graphite.
Volt needs $USD33m-40m to get Bunyu Stage 1 into production.
With Tanzania set to come into a pile of cash and aspirations to mine and process critical minerals, do they become a development partner for Bunyu along with European/USA investors in the final stages of negotiations?
Turning point for Volt could be close IMO.
