At this morning's auction there was 241,427 traded.

241,426 + your 1 share.

What occurs, an example as I did not see the match up.

241,426, put on at 2c sell, under your 2.1c. So there first in line if the bid is 2.1, not you at 2.1

Bid for 241,427, say at 2.1c.

As its one share more on 2.1 bid, than 2c sell, it will open at 2.1c.

But there are not enough at 2.1 right, so those 2c sellers got 2.1c and knocked you out and 1 share was left, yours.

It works the other way too.

I've bought at auction, bid few pips above on bid, so top, but the match was lower, so I got first fill at lower price.

Often we will see zero qty change on bid and sell as trade might scoop the over bidders and over sellers in the match.

Basically what happened today with 1 share done from the que at 2.1c.

Id say same on Friday with your one share as no trades at 2.1 in the day.

If one sees more qty on bid at auction say 2.1c, than 2c sell and you want 2.1c, you put on at 2c.

But if you tip the scales and the sell qty is just 1 share more than bid, it would open at 2c in my example.

2.1c bid, 2 shares. 2c sell, 1 share = close 2.1c
2.1c bid, 1 share. 2c sell, 2 shares = close 2c.
