Eventually the banks by being greedy ARE going to get their comeuppance and that will not be good for their shareholders (unless they sell out beforehand of course).
It may not happen now, but it will eventually. Greed catches up with everyone.
I personally emailed CBA yesterday and told them I will be moving my investment home loans elsewhere. And it won't be going to one of the big four.
