It is all about integration
The more arms of the business you have the more chance for cross referral within that network to ensure no leakage, and it will allow business units to cross subsidise, gain scale etc.
It is a long term end game, but in the end that is what will happen
Whether is be Primary, Ramsay, Healthscope etc it will happen
As the public purses get tighter, more people will end up in the private system.
