housing is a very complex matter. some builder I once knew reckoned building contractors go into bankruptcy in order to avoid tax and other costs of running business. I'm not sure the guy was credible but thats another view.
what did the LNP do about construction? I do note that construction was falling to todays level in the pre-covid years, but I don't see that they did anything other than talk up there housing bubble (pre- and post-covid).
I'm not ALP buddy. but they do have a mighty tough job finding builders these days.
