Ann: ASM refinances Korean corporate debt facilities, page-22

Haven't the US recently stated they are going to impose a 25% tariff on value added rare earth related stuff?

I have containers of aluminium stuck in Singapore and they are citing congestion plus container shortages. Forwarders have stated US companies have tied up containers due to them buying as much as possible before the tariffs kick in. This will be good for companies like ASM medium term... but gee the share price is looking pretty sick currently. No news is bad news. Why aren't they securing customers for Korea? Either they cant source consistent feedstock or the costs to do business are simply too high... so bring on more Chinese tariffs.

I bought into ASM quite a while ago, got caught on the hype train. It has a good story but it's now my worst performing stock, hands down. I'd buy more shares at these prices but already have put in a significant sum... instead I'm looking at tried and test, value fully franked dividend paying, boring stocks.
