Great buying opportunities but I have never seen the resource sector, in particular the speculative exploration sector in such a bad state. Even during tax sell periods of the past, companies still had solid footings and resistance points with buyers arriving on mass to take advantage of the bonus ‘bargains’ on offer this time of year and you would get the odd surge. Now it doesn’t seem to be taking place and constantly gets driven down. Not just DRE by the way, most of my exploration plays have been hammered in the past couple of months. Heck, even the producing companies in my portfolio making bank in record gold price conditions are getting driven down. A very strange market right now! Hopefully things change in the back half of 2024, because it’s been going on a while now.
