Just something I was thinking last night: suppose GG doesn't have any more information than we do but he launched his buying spree on the basis that if the FDA grant approval he will make a massive gain, but if they refuse it the price will collapse, he can buy very cheaply to get to 20% and then make a takeover bid at around $2 (much lower than what he would have to pay if he did it now). Win/win either way for him, since I am sure he feels he could run the company to make big profits with the connections he has in the industry.
