Very surprised the company hasn’t made any announcements to update shareholders on the reasons for the sudden drop in the share price.
From my own research, the fall in the share price is because of the political uncertainty in France as result of the snap elections called by Macron. There is speculation that if the far right party wins, it could have an adverse impact on Toll Motorway companies as explained in the excerpts from an article below. Important to note though that Atlas Arteria is not the only Toll company that has been impacted. Other Toll companies with exposure to France have also seen their share price tumble.
