Short memory Patience - how many times has the company been confident of a smooth and successful development process, only to be thrown curveballs?
The first lot at IMEC was a bust.
The company's biggest investor and chairman stood aside citing family - if everything was certain of a smooth, stress free outcome I doubt he would have taken that path.
PL2 partially failed and led to PL3 being delayed while an etch was developed. More cash was required
The etch was resolved and the Chairman resigned out of nowhere. Cope merchants claimed his job was done but he probably saw the risks.
PL3 was a complete failure. 12 month delay. More cash was required and the CEO who was brought on to sell the tech walked.
PL4 finally successful. Huzzah!
Maybe PL5 and 6 are "in the cap."
There's a band called, "And you shall know us by the trail of the dead."
4DS has certainly left a distinguishable trail behind it over the last 6 or so years
