Hi guys,
Just some other business findings for sharing
Simon did mention during the interview with David there is a factory in Griffith that has stopped taking orders and trying to fill in orders in November 2024, it is likely Triox which they bought in 2023.
https://triox.com.au/contact-us/
Triox is selling chemicals to kill weeds, snails, insects etc and we are seeing a more favorable weather condition now comparing to 2023. The dry weather was one of the main reason we have 1H24 flat to 1H23. If the weather is a key factor to DGL's chemical earnings, then we are expecting a real solid 2H24.
Also El Nino has ended, we are seeing wet years coming.
Refer to some of the rainfall records below.
http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/maps/rainfall/?variable=rainfall&map=totals&period=6month®ion=nat&year=2023&month=12&day=31
1H22 6 months rainfall (Wetter than 1H23)
1H24 6 months rainfall (Very Dry)
2H23 5 months rainfall
2H24 5 months rainfall (wetter than 2H23)
