fair points and i do agree the 2c option strike with a 4yr expiry is incredibly generous, about the most generous i have ever seen. the steep discount wasn't ideal either but at the moment most cap raises are having to discount quite a lot.
whilst i would have liked all of us to have the option to have participated in the raise at 1.3c with the oppies, i have seen this happen quite a lot that retail do get ignored mainly because it is expensive and time consuming to do an SPP - not saying it's the right thing to do but IXR aren't the only company to do this it happens regularly
i dont know much about Lynch and i am hopeful he will be able to improve things at IXR, but i do respect him dropping $2m on shares within his first few months of being here, yes he got in on the generous raise but his first $1.5m purchase was for shares at 1.8c which was the price of the shares on the day he joined i.e. fair market value.
to put things in perspective on his $1.5m purchase of shares at 1.8c, he is down $585k (at 1.1c) on paper on that parcel alone. that is no small feat
