I had comms with DC last week, and put forward some suggestions, as it’s a bit confusing all theses funders, offtakers and equity stakes.
He did reiterate, they are doing the best they can with the commercially sensitive discussions. Ie he knew we would have more questions than answers.
The modeling, was what they were attempting to work through, and how they could utilise the recent changes to capture upside for us. That’s the last I have heard. So, difficult to answer any of your above theories.
I would like to see, modeling on supply deficit, with then the flow on effect on how this pushes up NdPr pricing…Given they haven’t locked contracts, I would like to see premiums on contracts well in excess of spot price… that price elasticity that DC describes in writing for us to review... That would have the shorters running!!
