Announced: Having received strong interest from a syndicate of leading commercial banks, Talison’s existing SLF has been
upsized from US$1.0bn to total US$1.55bn, with a five-year term, which will fund CY2024 capital commitments
at the Greenbushes Lithium Mine (Greenbushes). The capital investment program at Greenbushes during
2024 primarily relates to the construction of Chemical Grade Plant 3 (CGP3) and Tailings Storage Facility 4
(TSF4)
So Greenbushes needing another $550,000,000 and borrowing it over a 1 year extended period. I wonder if anyone knew about this before it was announced this morning. Do these borrowings ever get repaid?
