This is what I’ve been trying to tell people.
A nation CANNOT be built on penny pinching.
You can’t have a 2 party politic country and both parties trying to out promise each other to cut cut cut costs, lower taxes, and trying to not invest and thinking low debt
it doesn’t work.
We have moon proudly telling us how wonderful Oz is because it’s government debt is comparatively low
BUT it’s low at a cost - that cost is that the country can’t house, feed, keep healthy, educate or provide secure power and energy to its people
you can forget your immigration ranting
that’s another problem issue - a lot of which the cause is from the very same flawed penny pinching false economic thinking
