From time to time (even recently) someone pops up and says we should list in the US as Aussie market doesn’t value ASX listed biotechs appropriately. Here is a note to them.

Telix announced their plan to list in the US in Jan 24. Today Telix has decided not to go ahead with the listing citing duty to shareholders. You can read their announcement today for details (or lack there of). While their SP has risen more than 60% in 6 months since (not necessarily due to) the US listing proposal, today’s news hasn’t caused SP to react negatively to the news.

There are plenty of ASX companies including biotechs which are dual-listed in the US (or other markets) but their market caps haven’t always had a positive effect from doing so in the long run.
