Except Melbourne is now a shite hole. You can enjoy the filthy CBD, the squatters in Elizabeth street, the rough sleepers in Bourke Street near parliament, the weekend Palestinian protests, the drug dealers in North Richmond and the constant road closures in Footscray, Docklands, Bulleen, Balwyn and Greensborough. Come down on the weekend where traffic across Melbourne is even slower than workday traffic.
And if you can find a restaurant open good luck because they will be serving $20 beers and $50 steaks just to stave off bankruptcy.
