In a mid sized, publicly listed company, you can't seriously expect the other directors not to be aware of $27m+ not actually sitting in term deposit accounts right?
How about checking on interest returns on the funds, checking audits, quarterly reports etc.
$27m + is a ridiculous amount of money to put away and not be aware of.
