Wotsup, not sure you an compare your brothers operation with Mr Fig Jam. I have had a few farmer clients and am curious enough about farming that I watch various you tube clips. Enough to know the many variables of each location and purpose

Mr Fig Jam has old machinery that he was given, some from people he shore sheep for. As you can see by his photos, his tractor is a Leyland 270 pulling a Massey Ferguson 80 series combine seeder.

If Mr Fig Jam was interested in going commercial then I'm sure he would upgrade his equipment.

Mr Fig Jam he is only focused on his lifestyle for his family to enjoy without complications,
If something fails for him it's no big deal, he just shrugs it of and carries on like nothing ever happened. From what I know of Mr FIGJAM he's not interested in being a snotty nosed big mouth trying to save a world filled with fools,

His oats are to feed his sheep for free, his sheep are for training his dogs and to fill his freezer with meat and a few of his closest friends.
The wool he shears from his sheep pays the rates and seed to grow oat son his own property.

Mr Fig Jam's farm doesn't owe him anything or anyone, he's in a pretty good place in my opinion,
