Stop subsidising intermittent and unreliable renewables and stop the planning and lawfare obstacles to coal and gas fired power projects and you will get private investment in baseload power generation.
All our energy problems are currently caused by rabid leftie / greenie government intervention, which is hellbent on forcing a rapid change on society, with no regard to the environmental, engineeering, social and economic consequences.
Hence, we have unreliable expensive power in Australia, economic conditions deteriorating and best of all a collapsing EV market.
