I don't think Labour are going to want Dutton to take the 'kudos' for opening up gas exploration/supply to the east coast if Dutton gets in at the next election, so they'll jump in first to take the credit for being 'visionary' and in touch with the 'gas crisis', and listening to the 'people'. Watch this space.
