Your lament indicates you do not understand what is involved in the research, development, implementation & finally commercialisation of a disruptive technology.

One does not just cobble together a product similar to Homer Simpson's spice rack & pronounce it a functional commercial product.

The process involves integration on Ahigh end, high risk niche applications - exactly what is currently underway.

An easy analogy is automotive.

Anti lock braking systems - from military aircraft application.

Fuel injection sytems - F1
Materials technology particularly metallurgical - Aerospace/military
Safety systems/active passenger restraint systems - military/aerospace

Digital systems - aerospace/military.

The next commercialisation step first involves high end very expensive offerings from Ferrari, Mercedes Benz Et-Al. In pretty quick time these systems are available in Hyundai & Kia as standard - The technology has now become ubiquitous = $$$$$$$

It is also worth pointing out (though anything beyond crayon for many here can be lost) that tbe Hyundai/Kia you are driving on the way to the BRN AGM... to tell BOM that they are all fwits, are wasting time, clueless & if only they would listen to your sage advice..... Well, that Hyundai is comprised of as many IP components as it is tangible parts.
