Analysts have three levers they can use to dial up/down these vals to pretty much arrive at any point on the scale they want. 1. Discount/COS. 2. Recovery rate. 3. Vested interestLook at Mornigstar, Bell Porter, UBS, Euroz Hartley etc etc absurd valuations the past. I am not saying they get it 100% wrong but boy they know how to play1 day they will say Price target raised to XX and next fortnight if it falls through the cliff n they will say Botanix Target Cut 30% to A$0.32/Share ( just an an example)I find valuations done by some of the very smart people on HC much better.
