The reason I thought to ask you was because I actually do believe this is a very reasonable request for simple confirmation of a quote to ask for - at this stage I didn't find a email address for Cameron but I imagine it probably wouldn't be too difficult to get one from the Adelaide news bureau or something.
Sometimes doing things with another person makes it a just a little bit harder to get fobbed off. A person acting alone can be often dismissed or treated like there is something wrong with them - people acting together not so easily - in my opinion.
