FWIW I think the reference to NDIS is a bit of a stretch, but I can see their line of thinking. Regulatory approval happens via the TGA but there is a process whereby drugs need to be accepted onto the PBS so that individual can access these are reasonable prices. If an approved drug potentially can reduce the needs of an individual on the NDIS, it is more likely that it would be added onto the PBS to improve availability. I am of the view that if the TGA approves the treatment, getting onto the PBS won't be that difficult given the other treatments on the presentation appear to be on the PBS anyway?
