Cheers for that link @TBALL
Bit that I picked up on was him mentioning more met test work for Mulga Bill .
Previous statement on Mulga Bill was :
"Preliminary metallurgical testing of one sample of Mulga Bill was completed in early 2022. This study concluded that gold recoveries of 99.7% were possible using a 150um grind size using 300ppm NaCN over 48 hours. Gravity gold recovery was very high at 62.1%, and the residual tails grade was only 0.1g/t Au."
So why would you do test work on an ore body that already tests up to 99.7% recovery, is it just to get a larger population of samples for confirmation , or is it to determine a different processing method as at a 99.7% recovery it would suggest the initial CIL may be over kill IMHO , there may be alternatives where lower OPEX and CAPEX ( CIL/CIP or otherwise )per tonne processed financially outweigh a small loss in recovery ?
