I understand, however the issue you are addressing is vertical supply chain integration (control) and some of that results in ownership of upstream assets. I am actually agreeing with you, however I believe Australia permits excessive foreign ownership for short term gain, long term loss. Part of me is in denial as that horse has somewhat bolted. Rant over, sorry.
