Not until they have a SAMR replacement. Do you know whether MVM is going for SAMR, or maybe another supplier that has SAMR that they could partner with? If not, A2M has no reason, or choice, but to back Synlait until they have an alternative supplier. It's simple really, imo, A2M are locked in to Synlait until there is a alternative, and in the meantime, they will do whatever they need to, to maintain continuity of supply.
