The whole thing is a case study in cognitive dissonance. It’s like adults getting upset because someone tells them Santa Claus is not real. People’s anger, frustrations and questions should be directed at the people running the business.
I don’t think it’s fair to shut anyone down. By the same token it’s not nice that anyone is made fun of. (Apologies Tran, if you are reading this)
