It is frustrating, but one thing I don't regret is buying into something I know is undervalued. Also be careful who you let into your head, lot's of inaccurate postings on HC, all just opinions nothing more. Your own work is what you rely on and that of your investor group who hopefully all add something to the equation.
What I do regret is getting out too early and then having the whip in the tail upside pass me by after I have been in the right company all along.
We're not in the small end for a 50% or 2x upside. I can get that in the larger caps just collecting dividends and trading put and call options over the stocks. Here it's about getting set early and then letting the upside play out. Problem is the timing, always and most people don't have the patience.
Don't be shy about trading some of the ups and downs along the way, helps to keep one's sanity and pass the time. Keep a core parcel for when that eventual re-rate comes otherwise you look silly trading for 50% upside when it pops. Just a thought.
I'm not sure why people keep posting inaccurate NPV numbers when the FCF numbers have been publicly quoted and are more accurate for valuation purposes. Also the resource numbers were publicly disclosed by a competent person's report independent of the company opinions. Strange that people don't read what's there, but that's the nonsense of public forums I suppose.
There's a cycle to all these things and even idiots' opinions get a voice when things aren't playing out on the timelines we expect. Just some thoughts, lets see what happens when this EOFY selling dies down, I hope we do close that gap quickly (then it's closed and done) and then rebound and move back up to more realistic numbers, where the actual value is priced in, not just shitty sentiment.
