That will add 5+ years to the timeline to get each of those nuclear power stations built.

Which means the LNP will need to win at least the next two consecutive federal elections plus have control of the Senate at the next election to even get this thing started.

Plus as the government is building these nuclear power stations, unlike renewables that are built by the private sector, that's another $100bn+ on the country's debt.

The LNP are more left wing than the ALP these days on how they manage the economy.
