Hi Mamamma
I don’t disagree with your opinion regarding feedstock availability and increased battery life expectancy.
From my understanding end of life batteries from BEV’s were not expected to make up a lot of the recycling feedstock until after 2030.
Most feedstock was suppose to be coming from battery production scrap, approx 20% of battery production is scrap, stated by Chris Reed from Neometals and from battery recalls which have also been a large source of feedstock.
End of life batteries are in the future, which is why I was really hoping for something to come out of the Nordic's in particularly Norway due to the “future” already being there. BEV penetration is deep and has been for over a decade there. End of life batteries could be a source of feedstock in this country.
